The food was Amazing.. great atmosphere.. calamari is great.. steaks are to die for, (sea salt is great to add on it when ur there) and 1 dessert will easly serve 2... romantic and a nice place to spend your evening...
Ah, Valentine's Day... time for a nice dinner so we try out The Wharf. While there was an hour wait, it was a nice night to sit and relax.
We started with wine and a shrimp cocktail. Then we went on to order 2 clam chowders, seared yellowfin tuna with rice pilaf and a steak and lobster with a side of cajun rice. And don't forget to ask for the bread basket!
As far as fine dining establishments in the small town of San Angelo goes, it's very good. A very nice atmosphere with a good wine selection helped us enjoy our evening. It may not be as high class as some of the fancier restaurants in the larger cities, but the food was excellent. The tuna was perfectly seared like I wanted, my husband's steak was juicy and flavorful and the lobster...well, it was lobster. My husband complained that it wasn't as sweet as other lobster's he's tasted, but he did get it steamed instead of grilled. Not sure if that might have had an effect on the flavor, but it might have helped.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience at The Wharf and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants good seafood.
i went to the warf to have dinner the other day ,but iwill never go back again.it's a very bad place to eat.
